Uta Ottmar began her career as a geologist, before discovering jewellery and sculpture.

Her work is influenced by the landscape, our interaction with our natural environment and the beauty of the raw materials.

All of Uta’s pieces are made from silver, with gold plating. 

She carefully sources river pebbles and stones from Europe, together with freshwater pearls. Silicon and nylon mesh provide a tactile juxtaposition to the organic materials.
